  • BBC Sounds. Music, radio, podcasts.

  • Hello from backstage at the National Museum of Scotland.

  • This has been my home for the last five days.

  • And shall I take you on a little tour?

  • So over there we've got the chairs that belong to Matt Ford,

  • the comedian, who's been doing his chat show here.

  • Just across the room is a load of kind of Van Gogh themed stuff.

  • That's because it's also home to a musical about the painter called Vagabond Skies.

  • There's a few other bits and bobs around here.

  • Oh yeah, the political bookshop, they've based themselves here too.

  • Lacking some well-known podcasting authors, but never mind.

  • And the best thing happened earlier on today.

  • I arrived and there was somebody asleep on the floor on a newscast cushion.

  • And it turns out it was the comedian Jenny Eclair, who was the show before us.

  • Anyway, I'm wide awake, just...

  • for this last episode of newscast coming to you from the edinburgh fringe and the reason i'm a bit out of breath is

  • because i literally just ran up the stairs around the back of the auditorium to get ready for the show he has just compared me to the fat controller did i say that i can't believe i said that next question This is art for the benefit of Earth.

  • I'm not personally a huge Sabrina Carpenter fan.

  • I don't think I'm being rude.

  • I like landscapes.
