  • day 5 of Your English Five A Day, the second season.

  • This series is here to help you to build a habit of dipping daily into the English language

  • because even if you can only do a little bit,

  • if you do it each day, It amounts to a great deal.

  • And if English fluency is something that you are deeply interested in,

  • if it is going to affect your life in a really meaningful way,

  • then consider joining our fluency program.

  • This is a very large and comprehensive program that guides and supports you to fluency from wherever you are at the moment.

  • I'll leave links.

  • to give you more details about the Fluency Programme in the show notes.

  • But for now, let's dive into today's episode.

  • This is a Friday episode,

  • meaning we are going to bring together all the vocabulary we've visited this week in one big story.

  • Now, this is not my story, but I will tell it as if it is.

  • The lost wallet in Hiroshima.

  • Back in May 2016, my partner and I decided we wanted to go to East Asia.

  • We were particularly interested in Japan, so we decided to go there for three weeks.

  • It was really the trip of a lifetime, not just an ordinary holiday.
