Hamas says it is prepared to coordinate with the Red Cross to deliver aid to hostages it holds in Gaza
if Israel meets certain conditions.
The conditions set by Hamas include Israel permanently opening humanitarian corridors and halting airstrikes during the distribution of aid.
The statement came after Hamas released a video showing the images of the hostages who have spent almost 22 months in captivity.
The video has fueled renewed calls to reach a ceasefire and hostage release deal.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has spoken with relatives of two hostages who appeared in that video,
expressing shock over the content of the video.
Tens of thousands of people rallied in Tel Aviv over the past weekend to urge Netanyahu's government to secure the return of the remaining hostages.
