Four hours until Donald Trump's trade deadline officially comes into effect.
This is the precise time that the president has set for countries to do a deal or to face much higher tariffs.
And in many cases, it is much higher tariffs.
In recent days, South Korea, Japan,
the European Union and other countries did announce framework trade deals.
mean they are avoiding the worst of the tax hikes, but many others have not.
We're running through some of those countries, seemingly still in the firing line,
over the next half hour or so, and we'll be asking, who really is winning this trade war?
Is it President Trump?
President Trump really set the terms of what is winning.
As you recall, he defined the purpose of these tariffs.
So yeah, I think he is winning it, and he seems to be getting what he set out to achieve.
