  • railway passenger trips during the summer break from July 1 to August 31 are expected to surpass 950 million.

  • That's a year-on-year increase of about 6%.

  • Travel platforms are also seeing a boom.

  • Group tour booking on 2NEW, for example, have surged by over 35%.

  • The growth has been spurred by the government's consumption policy,

  • coupons issued by local tourism bureaus, and discount tickets for high school graduates.

  • The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has launched a nationwide summer consumption campaign featuring some 39,000 events,

  • including theater performances, exhibitions, and nighttime cultural tours.

  • On top of that,

  • over 80 million U.S. dollars worth of subsidies are being distributed through travel coupons and bundled discount packages.

  • In addition to domestic tourism, Albon Travel has also logged robust growth.

  • Visa applications via Trip.com for destinations like Italy,

  • Norway, and Germany have increased by over 80%.
