21 分钟Hey English learners, welcome to another phrasal verb episode.
I hope you're doing well and I hope you're ready to learn some new phrasal verbs today.
In today's episode, we're going to look at two phrasal verbs.
The first one is bring about and the other one is bring out.
So first, let's look at the definition.
of these phrasal verbs and here an example of each one.
So, bring about means to cause something to happen.
So, for example, I could say, the invention of the internet has brought about huge changes.
So, what I'm saying here is that the invention of the internet caused huge changes to happen.
It is still causing huge changes.
So we often use this phrasal verb when talking about how some invention,
some big change, some new thing causes something else to happen or something else to change.
whatever.
So that's bring about.
And how about bring out?
This means to make something more apparent or evident.
For example, I could say that dress really brings out the color of your eyes.
What I'm saying here is that the girl's dress makes her color stand out more it's more apparent or obvious I'm sure you know what I'm talking about
if you see a girl with blue eyes and she wears a certain color dress this might make her eyes look even more blue it really brings out the color of her eyes so That could be for a physical trait,
for a personality trait, or other things as well.
