The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade says the Global Economic and Trade Friction Index in May stood at 105 remaining at a high level.
However, due to factors such as the US suspending certain additional tariffs,
a global trade friction measure showed signs of easing.
Among the 20 monitored countries and regions, the EU, India,
and the US ranked among the highest in the Global Economic and Trade Friction Index.
