The much-anticipated meeting will outline the country's economic and social development goals for the 15th Five-Year Plan period covering 2026 to 30.
The Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee met on Wednesday to set the agenda for the October session.
It emphasized the critical role of the 15th Five-Year Plan in advancing China's modernization,
citing strong economic fundamentals and long-term potential despite rising global uncertainties.
Wednesday's meeting also reviewed the current economic situation and outlined priorities for the second half of the year.
