Hello!
Today is going to be another one of those episodes where we talk about the humanitarian situation in Gaza which is deteriorating.
More than a hundred aid organisations and human rights groups have signed this joint statement warning of mass starvation and saying that their colleagues,
so not just the people they're helping but their colleagues, are quote, wasting away.
And those organisations were joined on Thursday by news organisations, including the BBC,
issuing a statement saying that journalists in Gaza can't feed themselves or their families either.
And that's quite an unusual thing for those news organisations to do.
And in the meantime, Donald Trump's special envoy, Steve Whitcough,
is travelling to more peace talks to try and secure a ceasefire.
And those talks are happening this time in Italy.
So there's quite a lot to get our heads around on this episode of Newscast.
Newscast.
Newscast from the BBC.
He has just compared me to the Fat Controller.
Did I say that?
I can't believe I said that.
Next question.
This is R for the benefit of Earth.
I'm not personally a huge Sabrina Carpenter fan.
I don't think I'm being rude.
