unable to get comfortable despite feeling exhausted from his long day at work.
Finally giving up on sleep,
he slipped on his warm slippers and decided to pad quietly across the landing to the bathroom.
After a quick trip to the loo, he hoped he might finally be able to drift off to sleep.
