We're coming to you live from London.
I'm James Menendez and we're going to begin today in Gaza and a new Israeli ground offensive in a part of the densely populated territory that had been relatively untouched by the fighting of the past 19 months.
It's the city of Deir el-Bala in the centre of the Strip.
On Sunday the Israeli military issued an evacuation order prompting Palestinians living there to flee.
Today the tanks moved in.
Several people are reported to have been killed.
Doha was one of those told to leave Deir el-Bala.
She sent us this voice note.
After being displaced for more than ten times and finally reaching Deir el-Bala,
I'm afraid that I'm going to be displaced yet again and evacuating yet again to another area.
But where shall I go?
And Hada is a university student there.
This is what she told us.
To be honest, most of my friends in Dar al-Bala have already been forced to evacuate their homes.
Many of them have also lost internet access,
so it's very difficult to stay in touch or to get real-time updates from them.
The situation in Dar al-Bala is important, yeah, but there is something even more urgent.
The starvation.
Gaza is actually starving.
