40 分钟Right now,
we are living through some of the most tumultuous political times our country has ever known.
I'm David Remnick, and each week on The New Yorker Radio Hour,
I'll try to make sense of what's happening alongside politicians and thinkers like Cory Booker,
Nancy Pelosi, Liz Cheney, Tim Walz, Katanji Brown Jackson, Newt Gingrich,
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Charlamagne the God, and so many more.
That's all on The New Yorker Radio Hour, wherever you listen to podcasts.
This is how to be a better human.
I'm your host, Chris Duffy.
Today, we're going to be talking about fashion.
We're going to be talking about math.
We're going to be talking about West Africa and Norway and artificial intelligence.
And as unlikely as it sounds,
we're going to cover all of those topics in the same conversation with one person.
And that is because our guest today is the multifaceted, multi-talented Diarra Bussow.
Diarra is the founder of the fashion technology company Diarra Blue,
but as she explains in her TED Talk, this was not a career that she expected.
I actually didn't intend to work in fashion.
I started my career on Wall Street in my early 20s, was obsessed with being rich,
and back then I probably preferred fashion brands that supported my wasteful shopping habits.
