Israel has carried out a drone strike in the Syrian capital Damascus.
It hit the entrance of the Syrian military headquarters.
It comes after several days of fighting in the south of the country between tribal fighters loyal to the Syrian government and a militia from the Druze minority in which nearly 250 people are reported to have been killed.
Qadir Mahesh is an Israeli Druze politician and former member of the Israeli Knesset.
She says Druze in Syria need protecting.
