But let's start with talking about reproductive rights.
Following the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe vs Wade three years ago,
the question of abortion's legality and availability returned to the states.
Abortion remains broadly legal in more than 30 states and Washington, D.C.
In some of those states, like Kansas, Missouri,
and Montana, abortion is still legal largely because of voters.
But it turns out that the people who spent decades trying to make abortion, quote,
illegal and unthinkable,
were not satisfied with outlawing abortion in some states and crippling access in others.
