54 分钟I think it's safe to say that at this point, the experience of sitting down on your phone,
scrolling on social media for hours to the point of feeling depressed and anxious and insecure is a universal experience.
We've all experienced it.
Like, my grandma has experienced it.
And I don't even know if she knows how to send an email.
But somehow she knows how to doom scroll.
It's kind of a miracle, honestly, that she figured that out.
Like, that feels advanced.
But unfortunately, she figured out something that I wish she didn't figure out,
because doom scrolling is one of the most miserable experiences of life today.
I mean, there are more miserable experiences, but doom scrolling is actually really bad.
And it shouldn't be, because it's just the act of using the internet,
scrolling, consuming content, consuming news, consuming information.
Like, it shouldn't be that bad, but it is.
And unfortunately, we're all experiencing it.
But it's inevitable because the internet is more addictive than ever.
And we are not equipped as human beings to resist the temptation.
So we're all sort of fighting this bad habit together, which is sort of beautiful.
But again, unfortunate because doom scrolling sucks and makes us all feel like shit.
And it really made me feel like shit a few years ago to the point where I took extreme measures.
