The House of Representatives has approved a White House request to claw back two years of previously approved funding for public media.
The Recisions package now moves on to the Senate.

President Trump held a second meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House,
as the U.S. tries to finalize a ceasefire in Gaza.
The Trump administration says there's progress, as NPR's Daniel Estrin reports from Tel Aviv.
Trump met Netanyahu in the White House on Monday and again on Tuesday.
After their second meeting, Netanyahu said they focused on efforts to free hostages from Gaza.
Talks continue between Israeli and Hamas officials in Qatar.
Trump's Mid-East envoy Steve Whitcoff told reporters he hopes by the end of the week there will be an agreement for a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza,
with Hamas releasing 10 of the 20 living hostages in Gaza and nine bodies of deceased hostages.
We think that this will lead to a lasting peace in Gaza.
Israel has so far resisted a commitment to end the war,
but Netanyahu told reporters Israel is prepared to end the war under conditions that Hamas would no longer operate in Gaza.
