Then the first Israeli missiles were launched.
Over the subsequent days, Iran's nuclear facilities came under sustained attack,
with the US joining Israel in deploying missiles.
Our objective was the destruction of Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by the world's number one state sponsor of terror.
It was an attack that, regardless of the true extent of the damage,
has changed the dynamic in the Middle East.
Now, The Times has revealed the extensive Israeli spying operation that,
over many years, gathered the information necessary for the strikes to be carried out.
