BBC Sounds, music, radio, podcasts.
Hello, it's Adam here in the old Coles Brothers department store in Sheffield.
It shut down a few years ago and people were quite annoyed about that here,
but it has been reborn this weekend as one of the venues for the Crossed Wires Podcasting Festival.
It's the second year this podcast festival has been running,
but this is the first year it's been sponsored by BBC Sounds.
who are kind of like the sponsors of Newscast.
So we thought we would come here and we'd make an episode.
And because it's quite a big, echoey room, we thought,
oh, we should maybe fill it up with some newscasters.
So we have.
Do you want to say hello?
Hello!
So I'm now going to look over at the guys to see if they're ready to play the famous Newscast music.
I'm going to look to my right to see if Chris Mason and Henry Zeffman,
making a rare weekday appearance, are ready.
And then I think we should make an episode of Newscast.
Newscast.
Newscast from the BBC.
He has just compared me to the Fat Controller.
