Hey everybody, it's Ian from How To Do Everything.
On our show, we attempt to answer your how-to questions.
We don't know how to do anything, so we call experts.
Last season, both Tom Hanks and Martha Stewart stopped by to help.
Our next season is launching in just a few months,
so get us your questions now by emailing howto at npr.org or calling 1-800-424-2935.
Live from NPR News in Washington, I'm Louise Schiavone.
In Kerrville, Texas, the death toll is now 24,
with more than 20 summer camp goers missing in flooding of the Guadalupe River caused by torrential rain.
Taylor Franklin and his wife Jessica rushed to the area to see their son,
who's attending a summer camp in the flooded area.
We saw a video of a cabin that was floating,
and you could see boys inside the cabin and flashlights.
And we just dropped everything we were doing, threw clothes in a bag,
and got in the truck and drove down here.
Franklin says his son is all right and that food and water have been airdropped to his camp.
The region is called Flash Flood Alley,
and there are concerns that forecasted additional rain could create more havoc.
Helicopters and hundreds of search and rescue personnel are out searching low-lying areas.
Authorities say 237 people have been rescued so far.
