Chinese President Xi Jinping has called
for consolidating a unified national market and high-quality development of the marine economy.
He made the remarks in the sixth meeting of the Central Committee for Financial and Economic Affairs.

In his speech at the meeting,
Xi emphasized that deepening the construction of a nationwide unified market requires adherence to the fundamental principle of five unifications and one opening.
He stressed the need to unify basic institutions,
infrastructure, government conduct standards,
market supervision and law enforcement, as well as markets for factor of production.
