We begin today's show in Hong Kong,
where a flag-raising ceremony was held to mark the 28th anniversary of the city's return to the motherland.
Chief Executive John Lee, senior officials and community leaders took part in the event,
highlighting not just a political milestone, but also deepening economic ties.
Since 1997, trade between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong has more than quintupled,
rising from nearly 60 billion US dollars to over 300 billion US dollars.
