  • BBC Sounds music radio podcasts.

  • Hello, we've caused a diplomatic incident with the Netherlands.

  • This follows Katja's reporting from the NATO summit in The Hague in the Netherlands on the last episode of Newscast where she talked about a type of biscuit called cock.

  • Newscast listener Silke got in touch and the important thing here is Silke is Dutch.

  • I heard Katja speak about a Dutch biscuit last night in the podcast on the NATO summit in The Hague,

  • and I thought I might want to clarify the pronunciation of that really delicious Dutch treat,

  • which is actually kook rather than the male genital that she mentioned.

  • So I hope this helps.

  • Silke, thank you for that.

  • In my defence...

  • When I then looked up these biscuits later in the episode yesterday,

  • I think I did say it looks like it's more pronounced cook than cock,

  • but we stand corrected.

  • Let's see what else we can get wrong in this episode of Newscast.

  • Newscast.

  • Newscast from the BBC.

  • He has just compared me to the Fat Controller.

  • Did I say that?

  • I can't believe I said that.

  • Next question.
