Hey there, this is Myra and I've got something to tell you.
People Fixing the World is on a mission to get more people around the world to hear about solution stories.
And guess what?
You can help.
All you need to do is subscribe and share the podcast with at least one more person.
And in that way, you'll be part of our mission.
Now let's get into this week's solutions.
I'm Myra Anoubi and this is People Fixing the World from the BBC World Service,
the one place where you're guaranteed to hear about positive things happening in our world.
From street dogs to wild pigeons,
many towns and cities are dealing with a growing number of animals that have become a bit of a nuisance.
They roam the streets and can be a threat to people's health.
But on the program this week,
we'll hear about two projects that are trying to control these animals by caring instead of killing.
We'll visit a loft in Germany to meet some special pigeons.
Is he making happy noises?
Maybe it's a love language.
But first, let's go for a walk in Mexico, with some friendly tourists and some furry friends.
Now,
I've had a dog before and I can tell you there's a reason why these guys are described as man's best friend.
