Hello,
welcome to News Hour. It's coming to you live from the BBC World Service studios in central London.
I'm Tim Franks.
And we're spending much of the programme trying to work out what comes next after the US's unprecedented strikes over the weekend on Iran.
What will Iran do?
What will Israel do?
And what might the US be prepared to do next?
How much is any one side in control of events?
And what's happened to Iran's nuclear programme?
And also,
a little bit later we'll be trying to explore what Donald Trump was up to when he mused on social media about the possibility of regime change inside Iran.
There's also, of course, what's happening right now,
including the continued exchange of fire between Israel and Iran,
which today has seen the Israeli military targeting Iran's most notorious prison, Evin, in Tehran.
The sound of sirens and you can also hear people shouting outside Evin prison after Israeli airstrikes earlier today.
Joining me in the studio is one of our correspondents with BBC Persian TV, Berang Tajdin.
Berang, what do we know of what happened at Evin?
So first of all...
Let me remind you that Evin Prison is located in the middle of a residential area and it's next to a prestigious university,
Sheikh Bereshdi University.
