The House of Representatives has approved a White House request to claw back two years of previously approved funding for public media.
The rescissions package now moves on to the Senate.
This move poses a serious threat to local stations and public media as we know it.

The situation between Iran and Israel is unclear this morning.
Moments ago, President Trump said that both sides violated a new ceasefire.
Earlier today, both countries said they would observe one.
However, Israel is saying that Iran has violated the truce.
Iran denies it.
This comes as the White House insists its attacks on Iranian nuclear sites last weekend were successful.
