Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said his country will never surrender in its conflict with Israel and warned the United States that it will suffer irreparable harm
if it intervenes.
This is an extract of his address played on Iranian state TV.
Mr Khamenei said that Iran had expected these attacks from Israel,
but that his country will stand firm against them, as well as any imposed peace.
It comes after more strikes by Israel,
focusing on Iranian missile sites and facilities making parts for the machines that enrich uranium centrifuges.
