I knew this day would mark the end of what has felt like a never-ending nightmare.
After years of stress, disappointment and emotional upheaval,
we were finally going to get closure on the whole chaotic situation.
Five years ago, when I first decided to become a landlady,
I was overflowing with optimism.
I imagined a future filled with prosperity, a growing portfolio and a luxurious lifestyle.
This was supposed to be just the first step.
I saw myself owning multiple properties,
managing them with ease and ultimately freeing myself from the constraints of a nine to five job.
I longed for time to focus on my family.
invest in my health and embrace life's simple pleasures.
But I made a terrible mistake.
In what I thought was a sensible, even generous decision,
