  • which means I'm going to bring together all the vocabulary that we've covered this week into one big story.

  • I knew this day would mark the end of what has felt like a never-ending nightmare.

  • After years of stress, disappointment and emotional upheaval,

  • we were finally going to get closure on the whole chaotic situation.

  • Five years ago, when I first decided to become a landlady,

  • I was overflowing with optimism.

  • I imagined a future filled with prosperity, a growing portfolio and a luxurious lifestyle.

  • This was supposed to be just the first step.

  • I saw myself owning multiple properties,

  • managing them with ease and ultimately freeing myself from the constraints of a nine to five job.

  • I longed for time to focus on my family.
