President Trump has ordered another 2,000 National Guard troops to report to Los Angeles.
On top of the original 2,000 he already deployed there.
He's also ordered 700 U.S.
Marines to go to L.A. too.
There have been widespread protests there over federal immigration raids.
Most protests have been peaceful, but some have been violent.
Trump insists a riot has been happening.
NPR's Liz Baker went to one protest crowd in L.A.'s Little Tokyo neighborhood.
People out here say they're here despite Trump's announcement to double the National Guard and to send the Marines.
They say we need to come out and make our voices heard peacefully, if possible.
