China saw strong growth in terms of retail sales for consumer products in the first five months of this year.

First up,
it's estimated that China saw 119 million passenger trips during the three-day Dragon Boat Festival,
a year-on-year increase of 5.7%.
Official sources indicate that total railway trips in the country reached 47.1 million,
a 2.3% increase from the number from the previous year.
Road travel recorded 600 million trips nationwide, up by 3.1% year-on-year.
Water transport and civil aviation respectively handled 2.9 million and 5.6 million trips.
The Dragon Boat Festival in China took place from May 31 to June 2.
