This afternoon, an update on the horrendous incident in Liverpool on Monday.
Everything had been building up to this event for a long time,
not just because of Liverpool being denied having a Premier League title parade in 2020 due to the pandemic,
but I think obviously they knew they were going to win the league for a long time and most of the hotels in Liverpool were booked up from February,
March for this weekend because people just wanted to be part of this parade.
The last time this happened, I was like 10.
So it's great to bring my little lad out today.
He's 11, so it's just how long I've waited for this.
It's amazing to share it with him.
It was just unbelievable scenes.
Absolutely packed.
The whole sky filled with red smoke and the flares.
We've been waiting for this for years.
So the weather's rubbish, but the atmosphere's brilliant.
It was just a special day.
Until 6pm.
A few minutes past six, as fans started to make their way home,
police say that a Ford Galaxy People carrier followed an ambulance that was making its way towards a fan who was suffering a suspected heart attack.
What happened next remains unclear, but graphic videos soon started to appear on social media,
