17 分钟Hello and welcome to the English Like A Day 2 podcast.
My name is Anna and you're listening to week 20, day 2 of Your English Five A Day.
The second season.
With this series, I'm hoping to support your habit of daily dipping into the English language.
The aim is to build your vocabulary and help you feel more like yourself when communicating.
in English.
Now, don't worry about recording any of the vocabulary we cover, because I've done that for you.
And you can access the whole Vocabulary Vault,
covering all the vocabulary from every episode of this season and the previous season,
all in one database.
I'll leave a link so you can access that database for free in the show notes.
But now let's begin, as we always do, with a snapshot.

resulting in another classic example of impulse buying.
Reward for completing her difficult work project.
But deep down she recognised it was really her desire for instant gratification driving the decision.
Alright, let's dive into this vocabulary starting with the noun impulse buying.
