As 2025 wraps up the 14th five-year plan, preparations are already underway for the next one.
Chinese President Xi Jinping is calling for sound, democratic,
and law-based decision-making to guide the creation of China's next five-year plan,
a key blueprint for national economic and social development from 2026.
to 2030.
The plan is currently being drafted under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee,
the highest decision-making body of the country's ruling party.
