You're listening to the documentary from the BBC World Service.
This is The Fifth Floor,
at the heart of global storytelling with BBC journalists from all around the world.
I'm your host, Irina Taranyuk.
This episode of The Fifth Floor was recorded a few days ago,
so we won't be reflecting the most recent news from Ukraine.
If you use social media,
I'm sure you're familiar with one of the latest trends on Instagram and TikTok.
It's called A Day in the Life, and it's about people documenting their daily activities.
And it's not just celebrities doing this.
Ordinary people also like to post about their skincare routines,
their commute into work, the food they cook, and their gym workouts.
Well, this trend has caught up in Ukraine as well,
where life is a bit more complicated at the moment.
This is a video of a Ukrainian soldier opening up his food ration and showing how he preps his meals on the front line.
He's saying he's got some rice with pork stew, a soup and a Ukrainian biscuit.
This is one of the many stories shared on the BBC Ukrainian TikTok channel.
