  • we're around this date each year, ever since 1977 is dedicated to be the International Museum Day.

  • And that's according to the International Council of Museums, the ICOM,

  • setting the date to raise awareness about the fact that museums are an important mean of cultural exchange,

  • enrichment of cultures and development of mutual.

  • So actually China joined the International Council of Museums back in 1983 and has

  • since then held International Museum Day events every year.
