This is The Guardian.
Today, Israel's plan to seize Palestinian territory in Gaza.
On Monday afternoon, a video was posted on Benjamin Netanyahu's ex-account.
This was an update, the caption read, without the media's filters.
The update in question was a new,
large-scale military operation called Gideon's Chariot to seize and occupy Gaza and establish a permanent military presence.
Netanyahu said that this would also involve moving Gaza's population,
in his words, for their own protection.
Some of his ministers went even further.
The far-right finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich,
pledged the entire destruction of Gaza, urging Israelis to embrace the word occupation.
For Palestinians, this is confirmation of their worst fears,
that the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip goes far beyond victory over Hamas,
and that Israel's ultimate goal is to rob Palestinians of their sovereignty and seize their land permanently under cover of war.

Today in Focus, has Netanyahu revealed his endgame in Gaza?

First of all,
can you talk me through what we know about this new offensive that was approved on Sunday by the Israeli cabinet?
