🎵 🎵 Hello, this is Meet the Writers.
I'm Georgina Godwin.
My guest today is a Swedish-born author and content creator.
Her first novel, OK Days, which focused on issues such as reproductive rights to body dysmorphia,
was met with rave reviews in 2023.
Two years later, she returns with a new book, What a Time to Be Alive.
Set in Aarhus and Stockholm, it's a dark,
coming-of-age novel that delves into themes of loneliness, class and self-discovery.
Jenny Mustard, welcome to Meet the Writers.
Thank you so much for having me.
I'm such a fan of the show.
Oh, well, I'm such a fan of you.
This book is absolutely wonderful.
Thank you.
I haven't read your debut yet, but I've also been watching you online on YouTube.
I've listened to a bit of your podcast.
And you are the most extraordinary creative person.
Where did that all come from?
Was it ingrained in your upbringing?
i think so maybe i think like for me all of this is just like different aspects of storytelling.
