Pope Francis has been buried at his favourite church in Rome after a funeral attended by hundreds of thousands of people.

Pope Francis has been laid to rest at his favourite church in Rome,
Santa Maria Maggiore, after a private service.
Officials say 400,000 people lined the streets on Saturday to see his coffin being taken from the Vatican on an adapted Popemobile.
He's the first Pope in more than 120 years to be buried outside the Vatican.
Earlier,
dozens of heads of state and royal guests joined other mourners for the main service at St Peter's Basilica.
People will be able to visit Pope Francis' tomb from today.
