Hello and welcome to Business Matters here on the BBC World Service.
I'm Rahul Tandon.
Plenty coming up.
We're going to look at all the big business stories of the day,
take you to the Canadian elections as well, have a real in-depth look at what's happening there.
We'll be joined throughout the programme by two guests on opposite sides of the world.
Ralph Silva, who of course is there in Canada,
and Jyoti Malhotra, Editor-in-Chief of the Tribune in India.
We're going to hear from them in a couple of minutes.
But before we do that, we are a business programme, but...
We do nod when there are, of course, major news stories.
And the funeral mass of Pope Francis is due to take place on Saturday morning in Rome.
The Pope's coffin will be laid in the square in front of St. Peter's Basilica.
Huge crowds are expected as well as more than 100 foreign delegations,
including heads of state and government.
President Trump just arrived in Rome a short while ago, will be in attendance.
A 28-year-old American journalist, Kelsey Gussie, will be the first one.
to read from the Acts of the Apostles at the funeral.
She shared some moments with Pope Francis and has been speaking to CBS television news in the US.
Honestly, it's a huge blessing.
