we're going to look at just one phrasal verb
because there are many meanings that this phrasal verb can have.
And that is blow up.
The phrasal verb blow up.
So we're going to look at three meanings.

We're just going to focus on three of those meanings in this episode.
The first meaning is to explode.
So literally, when something blows up, that means it physically explodes.
For example, the building blew up, right?
Maybe there was a bomb inside the building and the bomb went off and the building blew up.
