Chinese President Xi Jinping met visiting Kenyan President William Ruto and pledged efforts to make the relationship an example of leading China-Africa relations and cooperation among the global south.
Ruto said he believes the future of the two countries will intertwine in friendship and progress.
The two sides issued a declaration to work together under the new relationship and through three global initiatives.
