  • And the IMF just released its lowered forecast for world growth this year and next,

  • citing the risk of a global trade war.

  • Also saying, Mike,

  • the possibility of recession in the U.S. is rising to 40 percent from 27 percent in October.

  • What else did we learn?

  • Well, Alex, the world economic outlook is rather cloudy indeed,

  • according to the World Economic Outlook.

  • Basically,

  • the IMF had to retool all of their forecasts that were underway when Donald Trump announced his tariffs on April 2nd.
