Hello and welcome to the English Like A Native podcast.
My name is Anna and you're listening to week 16, day 3 of Your English Five A Day.
The second season.
This is the series that is on a mission to help you to feel more like yourself when communicating in English.
As we always say...
Habits are the most important part of achieving any skill.
And just by tuning in on a regular basis, you are already committing to building that habit.
So well done.
Now, today we're going to be revisiting some vocabulary that I gave to you a few years ago.
So let me start with today's snapshot and see if it feels familiar.
The new suit didn't fit Tom at all, hanging like baggy fabric off his shoulders,
so he reluctantly decided to hang up the expensive garment on the alterations rail,
believing that his body shape was the issue rather than the suit.
The tailor worked her magic on the alterations, and when Tom tried it on again,
it fit like a glove, perfectly accentuating his physique.
Looking at himself in the mirror,
Tom realised his hang-up about his appearance had been holding him back all these years.
Fantastic.
Let's now dive into today's vocabulary.
To fit.
