You need to use the right phrases so that you can make a good impression.
Today we'll learn 30 essential phrases for business English letters and emails.
Make sure to download the PDF of this lesson for free by clicking on the link in the video description.
We'll start at the beginning.
To introduce the topic of your letter or email,
you can say, I'm writing in reference to and then the topic,
or I'm writing to inquire about, that means ask about, a certain topic.
If this letter or email is a reply to previous correspondence,
you can reference that by saying, thank you for your letter or thank you for your email,
regarding your message or regarding your request,
or with reference to our conversation or our meeting last week or last month.
If it has taken you an unusually long time to respond to the previous correspondence,
you can use one of these phrases.
