A special exhibition on Minoan civilization in Greece has been launched at the Palace Museum in Beijing.
The exhibition brings together 172 precious artifacts and sets from the Heraclion Archaeological Museum in Greece,
along with one modern reconstruction.
It marks the first major exhibition dedicated to Minoan civilization held in China.
Minoan civilization, one of Europe's earliest Bronze Age civilizations,
is renowned for its grand palace architecture, exquisite frascos and unique writing systems.
The exhibition runs until July the 27th.
A series of academic lectures and educational activities will be held during the exhibition period to spark public interest in ancient civilizations and promote cooperation on cultural heritage protection and academic exchange between China and Greece.

Beijing has introduced the latest version of a comprehensive package comprising 32 new measures to support the development of the innovative pharmaceutical industry.
The plan, co-issued by Beijing Municipal Medical Insurance Bureau and another eight authorities,
includes measures to slash the clinical trial start-up time to under 20 weeks.
Launch a fully automated biobank for key diseases as well as develop AI models for pathology and drug development and launch a 50 billion yuan,
about 6.9 billion US dollar Health Care Industry Fund.
The Bureau said
that these measures will stimulate the overall vitality of innovative pharmaceutical enterprises further,
boost research and development capabilities and enhance health care services.
