I mean, so right now,
tariffs on Chinese goods from the US and tariffs on US goods from China are at historical highs and they basically amount to a trade embargo on each other.

As it stands right now, US tariffs on Chinese goods are at least 145%.
Chinese tariffs on US goods are at least 125%.
And this has all evolved well beyond measured trade policy.
