Chinese president Xi Jinping has held talks with Malaysian prime minister and were Ibrahim during his state visit.
It followed a president she's meeting with King Sultan Ibrahim where the Chinese leader pledged efforts to work with Malaysia to build a high-level strategic community with the shared future and start a new golden 50 years in bilateral ties.
He called on both sides to follow the path toward modernization together.
President Xi also said China is willing to deepen cooperation in culture, tourism and education.
