My name is Anna and you're listening to Week 15, Day 2 of Your English Five A Day.
The second season.
I have made it my job to ensure that your ears are filled with English vocabulary on a regular basis so that you can,
step by step, day by day, start to feel more like yourself when communicating in English.
Listening on a regular basis is a fantastic thing to do but
if you really want to master English then you have to go a step further.
So today I invite you to join my free Fluency Masterclass where I'll teach you the things you should avoid
if you want to achieve fluency and the system that you can follow
that I use with inside my premium course in order to help students to achieve fluency within 12 months.
If that's something you're interested in the registration link will be in the show notes.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Alright let's start today's episode with a snapshot.
Lucas liked to bully Sergei at school, always making fun of his clothes or his accent or his buzz cut.
Sergei was fond of drawing but he rarely showed anyone his sketches because he was afraid of being laughed at.
Lucas's parents had placed him on a pedestal for so long,
always praising him and ignoring his bad behaviour that he thought he could get away with anything.
When Sergei finally decided to stand up for himself, Lucas was taken aback by the courage he'd never expected.
Now it's time to deep dive into that vocabulary starting with the verb bully.
Bully.
