China is speaking out against growing unilateralism and protectionism from the United States,
warning that these actions are putting a string on their economic ties.
In a newly released white paper,
Beijing says China has fulfilled the terms of a phase one trade agreement is signed in January 2020 with the United States,
but Washington has violated its obligations under the deal.
The document makes it clear China remains committed to free trade and the rules of the World Trade Organization.
It also notes
that Beijing and Washington can resolve differences through dialogue and scoring mutual benefit and win-win cooperation at the essential nature of bilateral trade.
