China has said it won't back down in the face of threats by President Trump to place additional tariffs on imports.
Meanwhile, President Trump has announced that the US has begun direct talks with Iran about its nuclear program.
Iran says communication is indirect and Taiwan has accused China of using artificial intelligence to increase disinformation in order to divide the Taiwanese public.
