Hello, welcome to a brand new week and to Radio Headspace.
It's Eve here.
It's so nice to be back hosting the show again.
I'm really glad you're here.
I've recently gone through a really big period of uncertainty.
It's been a pretty tricky start to the year and I think many people would agree.
Not knowing what's going to happen can be really uncomfortable,
especially if it could impact your sense of security.
My anxious mind has been in overdrive.
And I've had my fair share of struggles with anxiety over the years.
It's what got me to try meditation in the first place.
My mind constantly felt like it was being bombarded with racing thoughts.
And physically, it felt pretty uncomfortable too.
That uneasy feeling in my chest and a general sense of what if something goes wrong?
If you've ever felt this way, I want you to know you're not alone.
This week...
I'm going to explore a few different ways that meditation and mindfulness can help calm an anxious mind,
because this is something I've struggled with so much.
In today's episode, we're going to look at ways to give our mind a place to land, a place to focus.
Just saying that actually feels quite nice.
